Whitening
There is a home whitening system available for patients that would rather
whiten their teeth at home. Before starting the at-home whitening procedure,
Drs. Beaudreau, Wright and Sword will create a custom fitted mouth tray
for the patient. This tray provides a better fit than an over-the-counter,
one-size-fits-all mouth tray system, to help increase the margin of patient
safety. The patient is given the instructions and materials, and goes
home to begin their treatment. In as little as two weeks, patients will
begin to see results.
Porcelain Crowns and Bridges
Porcelain crowns and bridges are one of the latest advancements in
cosmetic dentistry. They are a beautiful way to say goodbye to
old-fashioned metal
(gold or silver) crowns because they eliminate the dark lines in a
smile that came with metal-based crowns. Porcelain crowns are
as natural-looking
as your own teeth, and are extremely durable.
Porcelain Veneers
Because of their beautiful color, durability, and natural appearance,
porcelain veneers are used to make a dramatic, yet natural-looking
improvement
to a patient’s smile. They are very thin, artistically crafted,
tooth-shaped pieces of porcelain that are attached to the natural teeth.
They can be used in many different areas of tooth restoration. One of
the many features is that no one can tell they are there, and patients
care for them as they would their own teeth. Because they are so versatile,
they can also be used as an “instant orthodontic” tool to
straighten and improve a smile.
Bonding
With the use of this new procedure, Drs. Beaudreau, Wright and Sword can
close gaps between teeth to even out a smile. Bonding utilizes a composite
material that is applied in thin layers to the surface of the teeth, and
is then fused to the teeth to create a strong bond that is similar to
a patient’s own natural enamel. This procedure can turn an average
smile into a beautiful, bright smile.
